The UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development held a regular meeting on Doctoral Research Work for first- and second-year doctoral students. During the meeting, doctoral students presented reports on the progress of their research activities and provided information on their published scientific papers as well as articles currently being prepared for publication.
In addition, the doctoral students delivered presentations on the research sections of their doctoral dissertations, applied scientific methods, research objects, and preliminary findings. The research topics covered issues related to sustainable development, ecology, rational use of natural resources, and environmental protection.

The meeting also addressed the requirements for publishing scientific articles in international ranked journals, the proper presentation of research results, and ways to improve the quality of scientific work. Scientific supervisors and faculty members of the department provided methodological recommendations and guidance for further improvement of the research projects. Such activities contribute to the development of doctoral students’ research competencies, enhancement of academic activity, and high-quality preparation of doctoral dissertations.
