KazNU students took part in a lecture by an international politician
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Board, First վ–Rector Erkin Duisenov and Professor of the Korean Institute of Science and Advanced Technologies (KAIST), former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Dr. Park Jin. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of science, education and scientific diplomacy.
Special attention was paid to joint research, academic exchanges and the development of international scientific projects. Welcoming the delegation, Erkin Duisenov noted that al-Farabi Kazakh National University is consistently strengthening its position as one of the leading research universities in the region and expanding its partnership with leading foreign universities.

In turn, Dr. Park Jin drew attention to the issues of scientific diplomacy and the role of universities in strengthening international cooperation. In his opinion, science and education today unite countries much more than political borders.

After the meeting, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, politician Park Jin, gave a lecture. The event was attended by the university's faculty, deans of faculties, young researchers and students. The Guest of Honor was introduced by the Deputy Chairman of the Board, First վ–Rector Erkin Duisenov, noting his many years of experience in the field of diplomacy and public service, as well as his significant contribution to the development of international relations.

During the lecture, the speaker shared his views on modern international relations, diplomacy and the role of global leadership, and also gave valuable recommendations to young people based on personal professional experience. In addition, the scientist emphasized the increasing role of education and science in the context of globalization, calling on the younger generation to constantly develop themselves, improve professional skills and strengthen international cooperation.

"In today's world, a true leader must be not only educated, but also responsible, able to adapt to changes. Youth is the driving force of the future. Therefore, it is important to constantly strive for new knowledge and think globally. Education and science are the main guarantees for the development of any state. If young people strive to innovate and contribute to the prosperity of their country, society will also develop dynamically",- the speaker noted.

Park Jin also stressed the importance of speaking several languages, international exchange of experience and strengthening intercultural ties among young people. The participants of the event asked the lecturer questions and discussed with him his experience in the field of international diplomacy in a free format. At the end of the leadership lecture, scientist Park Jin was solemnly awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" of KazNU.
