A meeting of the Alumni Association Council was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of 91ý Kazakh National University.

On May 30, 2026, a meeting of the HSEB Alumni Association Council was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of 91ý Kazakh National University. The event brought together alumni of different generations, faculty, students, and distinguished guests, serving as an important platform for strengthening ties between the university and its alumni.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with memories of student years, alumni's professional achievements, and discussions of prospects for future collaboration. Such events play an important role in preserving university traditions, developing corporate culture, and forming a united community of alumni who continue to actively participate in the life of their alma mater.
The opening ceremony was accompanied by the performance of the international student anthem, "Gaudeamus," which symbolizes the unity of the academic community and the continuity of generations. Zh.Zh. Ermekova, Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business and PhD in Economics, addressed the participants with a welcoming address, emphasizing the importance of the Alumni Association in the development of the university, supporting students, and strengthening partnerships between education, science, and business.


A special event included speeches by graduates from various years, representing several generations of the university. Aimankul A. Erezhepova, 45 years since graduating; Gabit A. Lesbekov, 30 years since graduating; Tatyana V. Kudasheva, 30 years since graduating; and Nariman Abay, 10 years since graduating.
In their speeches, they noted the high level of training of specialists at 91ý Kazakh National University, expressed gratitude to the faculty, and emphasized the importance of maintaining connections between graduates and the university.
One of the key moments of the meeting was the presentation of scholarships and financial support to students of the Higher School of Economics and Business. Thanks to the alumni's initiative, the best students received well-deserved recognition for their achievements and additional motivation for further professional growth. Supporting talented young people is one of the Alumni Association's most important goals and contributes to the development of a new generation of highly qualified specialists.
Student performances were a highlight of the program. Guests warmly welcomed a dombra kyui performed by Yelaman Beknura, Tazhibek Aysultan - Taspá äní (guitar), and a musical number in Ûobyze, "KüzgÖ Ùuën," performed by Kozhamseit Minur. The concert performances created a special festive atmosphere and highlighted the diversity of student life.
During the meeting, participants were shown video greetings from graduates who remain connected with the university. Among them were Alizhan N. Tulembayev, a graduate of the Marketing program and CEO of Kazakhstan Engineering R&D Center, as well as graduates of the Finance program.
The meeting concluded with a presentation dedicated to the Higher School of Economics and Business's Alumni Day, a review of the Association's work, a commemorative photo session, and a friendly reception. The event once again confirmed that 91ý KazNU alumni are an important part of the university community, and their professional success, active citizenship, and support of students contribute to the further development of the Higher School of Economics and Business and strengthen its authority in the country and abroad.
