IV International Amanzholov Readings: SCIENTIFIC LEGACY OF ACADEMICIAN ALTAI AMANZHOLOV AND TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TURKOLOGY IN THE MODERN SCIENTIFIC SPACE

     The Faculty of Philology at 91ý Kazakh National University, within the premises of the A.T. Kaidar International Center of Turkic Culture and Heritage, hosted the International Round Table "IV International Amanzholov Readings," dedicated to the rich scientific legacy of the prominent Turkologist Academician Altai Sarsenovich Amanzholov. Fully aligning with the priorities of the Sustainable Development Goals, including Quality Education (SDG 4), Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17), this global forum brought together leading scientists and researchers from Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Russia, and Moldova.

    The organizing committee and expert-analytical support team for this international scientific and educational forum were comprised of the leadership of the Faculty of Philology and leading scientific-pedagogical staff of the specialized departments. These included the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Zholdasbekova Bayan Omirbekkyzy, the Deputy Dean for Research Affairs Bayanbaeva Zhadyra Amangeldivna, the Head of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Avakova Raushangul Amirdinovna, the Deputy Head of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory for Educational, Methodological and Upbringing Work Kudyaryova Sh. T., and the Deputy Head of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory for Research-Innovation Work and International Relations, Doctor PhD Ismaylova Nurgul Ahmetkhanovna. Their well-coordinated performance ensured high-quality academic monitoring, interdisciplinary integration, and the successful realization of target indicators for the sustainable development of the intellectual potential within the Turkic scientific and educational space.

    During the opening of the main section of the international scientific meeting, titled "Turkology and the Scientific Legacy of Altai Sarsenovich Amanzholov," welcoming remarks were delivered by Oraz Sapashuly Sapashev, Associate Professor at Istanbul University and Candidate of Philological Sciences, who highlighted the role of this forum in strengthening transnational academic partnerships. Within this section, Professor Raushangul Amirdinovna Avakova, Head of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, presented her report "Scientific School of Altai Amanzholov," outlining the distinct position and methodological foundations of the scholar's heritage in the development of domestic linguistics. Professor Uldanay Maksutovna Bakhtikireeva, Doctor of Philological Sciences from the Department of Russian Language and Intercultural Communication at the Institute of Russian Language of RUDN University named after Patrice Lumumba, delivered a profound scientific analysis of the evolution of writing systems through the prism of A.S. Amanzholov’s fundamental concept "History and Theory of Ancient Turkic Script." Senior Researcher from the Institute of Cultural Heritage in Chisinau, Doctor of Philological Sciences Evdokia Stepanovna Sorochyanu, shared the outcomes of an international study on the place of flour products in the daily life of the Gagauz people and the experience of their linguistic mapping. Professor of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, Doctor of Philological Sciences Gulmira Bayanpjanovna Madiyeva, characterized Altai Amanzholov's research as the authentic written code of the Great Steppe, emphasizing his invaluable contribution to global Turkology. Associate Professor of the same department, Candidate of Philological Sciences Saule Bekmukhamedovna Bektimirova, evaluated the high theoretical value and scientific significance of the scholar's masterpiece "Foundations of Turkic Philology" for the new generation of young scientists and researchers. At the conclusion of the session, the participants' attention was drawn to a special video screening that shed light on the creative, scientific, and human relationship between A.S. Amanzholov and the classic of Kazakh literature, M. Auezov. The visual materials of the conference were uniquely decorated with original drawings and sketches of ancient petroglyphs made personally by Academician Altai Amanzholov, which significantly enriched the cultural essence of the event. In this regard, this section of the forum demonstrated the high efficiency of international knowledge exchange in the humanities and provided fresh momentum for the collaborative development of fundamental research on a transnational level.
