Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics at 91ý Kazakh National University, Gauhar Auzerkhan, and Head of the Department of Computational Sciences and Statistics, Almas Temirbekov, held a meeting with 10th–11th grade students of School-Lyceum No. 161 in Almaty. During the event, students were informed about the university’s educational programs, admission requirements, the importance of choosing a profession, and future career opportunities.
During the meeting, prospective applicants received detailed information about the university’s academic process, student life, academic mobility programs, research projects, and international collaborations. In addition, students were given guidance on choosing a field of study that matches their interests and abilities, as well as advice on selecting the appropriate subjects for the Unified National Testing (UNT).
The students asked questions of interest and received comprehensive information about academic programs and study conditions. The meeting was conducted in an active and engaging format, allowing students to gain valuable insights into their future career choices.
The career guidance event proved to be an effective initiative aimed at helping students make informed decisions about their future professions.
