The principles of "Law and Order" were explained to the students

A meeting was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University aimed at improving the legal literacy of students, the formation of a legal culture and the prevention of offenses within the framework of the principles of "Law and Order".

The event was attended by Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's office of the Bostandyk district of Almaty Marat Talgatuly, Operational Commissioner for particularly important cases of the Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty Zhaksylyk Myrzakhan, as well as senior inspector of the unit for combating domestic violence, police Lieutenant Albina Koilybayeva. During the meeting, the speakers told the students about the prevention of delinquency among young people, the risks of the digital environment, common types of financial fraud, the rights and obligations of citizens, as well as measures to prevent domestic violence.

Speaking to the participants, Marat Talgatuly, Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's office of the Bostandyk district of Almaty, noted the importance of forming a legal culture and personal responsibility of every citizen. "The law works when it is respected not out of fear, but out of an understanding of responsibility to society",- the speaker noted. According to him, respect for the law is formed through everyday actions. He also called on young people to improve their legal literacy, actively participate in public life and be aware of their actions.

Zhaksylyk Myrzakhan, the Operational Commissioner for Particularly important Cases of the Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty, spoke about modern types of financial fraud and ways of protection. The speaker drew the students' attention to the risks of participating in financial pyramids, questionable investment projects and online fraud. He noted that financial literacy and a critical attitude towards suspicious offers remain the most effective ways to protect against criminal schemes.

In turn, the senior inspector of the unit for combating domestic violence, police Lieutenant Albina Koilybayeva, spoke about measures to prevent domestic violence and mechanisms for helping victims. According to her, the prevention of such cases requires joint efforts of the state, society and citizens. She also noted that timely seeking help can prevent serious consequences and protect the rights of citizens.

At the end of the meeting, the students asked interesting questions and received detailed answers from specialists.
