Future Marketers and Logisticians Visit "Keremet Su SKE": Bridging Theory and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

From May 1 to May 3, as part of their introductory internship, 1st-year undergraduate students of "Logistics" and "Marketing" programs went on an industrial educational field trip to "Keremet Su SKE" company, organized by the Department of Business Technologies.

This event not only helped students integrate their theoretical knowledge with real-world practice but also demonstrated the live implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) actively advocated by our university:

SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation — Students explored the technological stages of drinking water production, advanced filtration, and rigorous quality control systems.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — Future specialists studied supply chain management, warehouse logistics optimization, and cutting-edge marketing strategies for brand promotion.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production — The tour highlighted sustainable raw material sourcing, eco-friendly distribution of finished goods, and waste reduction processes.

During the visit, company experts shared valuable insights on building customer relationships and executing successful data-driven marketing campaigns.

The field trip was led by the faculty members of the Department of Business Technologies: Associate Professor N.H. Maulina (PhD in Economics), and Senior Lecturers A.K. Bekmetova, A.J. Boltayeva, A.B. Alikbayeva, and M.D. Sharapieva. Such practice-oriented activities remain crucial in preparing highly competitive professionals aligned with current industry demands.
