2-year students of the “6B11201 – Environmental Protection and Life Safety” educational program of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, 91��ý Kazakh National University, are currently undertaking their practical training at the Almaty Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The internship is supervised by Baibotayeva Aigul Dikhanbaevna. During the training period, students gain valuable experience by familiarizing themselves with the activities of civil protection authorities and studying the mechanisms for the prevention and response to emergency situations.

This practical training provides students with an excellent opportunity to strengthen their theoretical knowledge through real-world experience, develop professional competencies, and acquire essential practical skills required for future careers in environmental protection, occupational safety, and emergency management. The internship represents an important step in preparing highly qualified specialists capable of addressing contemporary environmental and safety challenges.
