Meteorology Students Completed Aerological Training at RSE “Kazhydromet”
From May 25 to June 13, 2026, third-year students of the Educational Program “Meteorology” of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, 91ý Kazakh National University, completed their aerological training at the Almaty Aerological Station of RSE “Kazhydromet”.
During the training, students became acquainted with the activities of the aerological service, studied methods for investigating the upper atmosphere, the principles of aerological observations, and the specifics of processing the collected data. Particular interest was generated by modern equipment and technologies used to obtain information on atmospheric conditions.

Under the guidance of specialists from the aerological station, the students strengthened the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies and gained practical skills in working with aerological data. This experience enabled future meteorologists to better understand the importance of aerological observations for weather forecasting and atmospheric monitoring.
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology expresses its gratitude to the staff of the Almaty Aerological Station and RSE “Kazhydromet” for their support in organizing and conducting the training, as well as for their contribution to the education of highly qualified specialists in meteorology..jpeg)
