Research Internship of a PhD Student in the Geoinformatics Educational Program
Kairat K. Augambayev, a third-year PhD student of the Geoinformatics educational program, is currently undertaking a research internship at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing.
During the internship, the doctoral student, together with the institute's researchers, applies geospatial technologies and remote sensing methods to assess the health condition of vegetation on selected experimental fields. The research activities include monitoring crop growth conditions, processing spatial data, and interpreting vegetation assessment results.

In addition, Kairat Augambayev actively participates in field agricultural activities, including fertilizer application, crop monitoring, and plant maintenance. These practical activities provide valuable experience in applying geoinformation technologies to agricultural research and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary studies integrating geoinformatics and agricultural sciences.
The results obtained during the internship will be utilized in the doctoral student's future research activities and will contribute to the advancement of modern approaches to agricultural land monitoring and management.
