Kanat Auesbai is an Academician of the Kazakhstan Pedagogical Sciences Academy.
In Almaty, during the XXXII session of the Kazakhstan Pedagogical Sciences Academy, elections of academy members were held. According to the election rules, candidates were required to present concrete proposals of national significance related to education based on their scientific research. At the session, pedagogical scholar and journalist Kanat Auesbai delivered a report titled “Media Pedagogy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Issues of Transforming Educational Content.” In his speech, K. Auesbai discussed the new goals and objectives facing media pedagogy in the context of the development of artificial intelligence. The thesis of his report considered neural networks not as a threat to the higher education system, but as a driving force for the modernization of media pedagogy content, and proposed updating teaching methodologies accordingly.
By decision of the General Assembly of the Academy, through a majority vote, Kanat Auesbai was elected a full member (academician) of the Academy. The academic certificate and diploma were formally presented to Kanat Auesbai by the President of the Academy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Askarbek Kussainov.
A full member (academician) of the Kazakhstan Pedagogical Sciences Academy (KPSA) is a high scientific title awarded to distinguished scholars and practitioners who have made an exceptional contribution to the development of the national education system and pedagogical science.
K. Auesbai is a Candidate of Philological Sciences and has completed a scientific and pedagogical internship under the Bolashak program (Norwich, United Kingdom). He is the author of numerous articles published in scientific journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in the Scopus database. He has been awarded the badge “For Contribution to the Development of Science” by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Founded in 2004, the main goal of the Kazakhstan Pedagogical Sciences Academy is to unite the efforts of domestic scientists to develop the pedagogical science system. Today, among the academicians of this long-established institution are well-known figures in education and science such as Aygul Mirazova, Akylbek Kurishbayev, Erlan Sydykov, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Erlan Aryn, Bauyrzhan Zhakyp, Serik Piraliev, Nurlan Dulatbekov, Kairat Zhakaryanov, Dosbol Baykonakov, and many others.
