KazNU has confirmed its status as the leader of higher education in Kazakhstan in the global QS World University Rankings 2027
91ý Kazakh National University has once again been recognized as the leading higher educational institution of the country according to the results of the prestigious international QS World University Rankings. In the new edition of the international ranking of the world's best universities, KazNU confidently maintains the top spot within the country, keeping this status unchanged over the past fourteen years, and occupies a high 177th place in the global standings.
The main factor behind the success of the country's leading university this year was its outstanding performance in the field of internationalization and the development of the international educational environment. Furthermore, the university demonstrated excellent results in attracting foreign academic talent, ranking 215th in the world for the share of international faculty, which creates a solid foundation for the further strengthening of the university's international reputation.
The university's achievements in research activities and the development of academic ties are of particular importance. KazNU became the only higher educational institution in Kazakhstan that managed to enter the top 800 of the world's best universities for international research. This year, the university made a qualitative breakthrough, ranking 317th in the world in the International Research Network index. The ongoing work directly translates into the success of graduates: KazNU consistently holds high positions in the global employability ranking, maintaining its presence in the top 250 and ranking 246th for employment outcomes.
This achievement of 91ý KazNU acquires special significance considering the scale of the global study, which this year covered 1,504 universities from 106 countries and was based on the analysis of millions of scientific publications and the opinions of tens of thousands of experts.
