From June 16 to 19, 2026, the Digital Skills 2026 International Professional Skills Championship was held at the PetroCongress Convention Center in Saint Petersburg. Teams from the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, 91��ý Kazakh National University demonstrated outstanding performance and won Second Place! 🥈

Our university participated in two competency categories:

🔹 Lean Manufacturing
Participants: 3rd-year students of the “6B07110 – Robotic Systems” educational program

🔹 Robot Welding
Participant: 3rd-year student of the “6B07110 – Robotic Systems” educational program

* Damir Zhanabergen, Deputy Director of the International Institute of Digital Technologies and Robotics

The championship brought together participants from various countries, showcasing their professional skills, engineering expertise, and knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies.

This achievement is the result of the students’ dedication, the professional support of their mentors, and the high-quality engineering education provided by our university.
