Results of the Indicative Plan Implementation Discussed at the Department's Regular Meeting
On 23 June 2026, a regular department meeting was held, during which one of the main agenda items was the comprehensive review and discussion of the results of the department’s Indicative Plan implementation for the 2025–2026 academic year.
During the meeting, a comprehensive analysis was conducted of the department’s activities in the main areas, including educational and methodological work, research activities, educational work, international cooperation, and the development of human resources potential. The participants provided a thorough assessment of the extent to which the planned indicative indicators had been achieved.

The Head of the Department delivered a report on the main results of the department’s activities for the reporting period, presenting in detail the achievements attained within the framework of the Indicative Plan implementation. In addition, detailed information was provided on the scientific publications of the faculty members, their participation in international and national research projects, the research activities of students, the development of academic mobility, the improvement of the educational process, and the enhancement of the quality of educational programs.

The meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, A.S. Aktymbayeva, who evaluated the results of the department’s Indicative Plan implementation. In her speech, the Dean noted the systematic and productive work of the department’s staff throughout the academic year, emphasizing that the level of achievement of the main indicators corresponds to the strategic development goals of the faculty. At the same time, she put forward a number of proposals aimed at further improving the effectiveness of the department’s activities, strengthening research work, expanding international cooperation, increasing the number of publications in high-ranking scientific journals, and developing the scientific potential of young researchers and students.

During the meeting, department members exchanged views on the results of the Indicative Plan implementation and discussed the main tasks and priority areas of activity for the upcoming academic year. Following the discussion, the implementation of the department’s Indicative Plan for the 2025–2026 academic year was deemed satisfactory. Relevant decisions were adopted aimed at preserving the achieved results and further improving the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of the main indicators in the future periods.
