On May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre organized an educational event entitled "Saving is the Foundation of Wealth: Smart Budgeting Tips for Summer Field Expeditions and Vacations" to enhance students' financial literacy.

The event was conducted by Tokbergenova A.A., Head of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre, and Kadylbekov M.K., Deputy Head of the Department for Academic, Methodological and Educational Affairs.

During the session, participants discussed effective personal budget planning for summer field expeditions and vacations, practical ways to reduce travel, accommodation and food expenses, as well as strategies for managing unexpected costs. Special attention was paid to financial responsibility, smart spending habits and the importance of financial planning in everyday life.

Students actively participated in the discussion, shared their experiences and exchanged useful money-saving tips. The event contributed to improving students' financial literacy and developing practical skills in effective personal budget management.
