Lecture by the Faculty Members of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre at Zhejiang International Studies University
A lecture entitled "Digital Modeling of Salt-Affected Soils in Kazakhstan" was delivered at Zhejiang International Studies University by A. Yershibulov and M. Kadylbekov, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre.
The lecture was held as part of the Asian Regional Development Strategy Summer Educational Program, which aims to promote academic exchange, strengthen international cooperation, and expand scientific and educational partnerships among universities.
During the lecture, the speakers presented modern approaches to the digital modeling of salt-affected soils in Kazakhstan, highlighting the application of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies for the study and monitoring of soil resources.
In addition, A. Baigozha and A. Murat, students of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre, are participating in the Summer School organized within the framework of the program. Together with international students and faculty members, they are exploring contemporary issues related to Asian regional development, sustainable development, and international academic cooperation.
The participation of the department's faculty members and students in this program contributes to strengthening international partnerships, enhancing research capacity, and promoting the academic mobility of students.
