On July 8–9, 2026, the 2nd International Engineering and Applied Sciences Conference (NESIREDDIN TUSI 2nd International Engineering and Applied Sciences Conference) was held at Azerbaijan Technological University in Ganja, Azerbaijan. The international scientific event brought together researchers, academics, and young scientists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Indonesia, and several other countries.

The conference was attended by PhD, Associate Professor Erlan Doszhanov of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development at 91��ý Kazakh National University, along with doctoral students Arman Zhumazhanov and Elnur Arifzade from the same Chair.

During the conference, the participants delivered presentations addressing current issues in environmental science, chemistry, materials science, biotechnology, the utilization of agricultural biomass, the development of advanced functional materials, and innovative technologies for solving environmental and agricultural challenges. The presented research attracted considerable interest from the conference participants and served as a basis for productive scientific discussions.

The conference also featured discussions on recent advances in engineering and applied sciences, environmental research, chemistry, materials science, and sustainable development. The presentations facilitated the exchange of knowledge with international researchers and provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for future scientific collaboration. At the conclusion of the conference, the participants were awarded international certificates recognizing the successful presentation of their research findings.

Participation in this international scientific event contributed to strengthening the international cooperation of 91��ý Kazakh National University, expanding academic and research partnerships with foreign universities and research institutions, increasing the international visibility of Kazakhstan's scientific achievements, and creating new opportunities for collaborative research projects and publications in internationally recognized scientific journals.
