Prospects and role of Kazakhstan in CSTO and SCO
Roundtable, entitled "Prospects and role of Kazakhstan in CSTO and SCO" was held on October 21 at the Department of International Relations. The Organizers of the roundtable were the Resource and Information Centre on NATO at 91传媒 Kazakh National University and the Institute for Security and Cooperation Problems.
The roundtable was attended by a number of leadinf kazakhstani and foreign experts, featuring professor Roger N. McDermott from University of Kent at Canterbury (UK) and professor Yves Janclos from University of Strasbourg (France), etc.
During the roundtable participants discussed the role of Kazakhstan in CSTO and SCO and further development of interaction between SCO and CSTO member states to counter modern challenges and threats.
