THE REPUBLICAN TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT WAS HELD AT KAZNU
On the eve of the Nauryz holiday, the republican Ping Pong Challenge Almaty - 2023 table tennis tournament among universities was held at the al–Farabi Kazakh National University. 24 teams from 19 universities took part in the tournament.
It should be especially noted that this championship is held on the initiative of the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev.
The National Table Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan was established in 1993. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev headed this organization for more than 13 years. During official visits to the countries of the world, the President plays ping-pong with the heads of state.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team of Suleyman Demirel University, the second was awarded to Narxoz University, and the third by the team of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University.
