• Zhanseit Tuimebayev visited Ak-Orda and met with the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the meeting, the President was informed about the results of academic, research, innovation activities of the university, new directions and prospects for the development of KazNU.
• The head of KazNU took part in the forum "New Kazakhstan and Creative Women" dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8.

• The Rector made a presentation at the Republican Conference of Women in Science and Higher Education at the 91��ý Library.
• The Rector of KazNU received a delegation headed by the head of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Xu Guixian. At the meeting, the parties discussed issues on further development of cooperation and voiced a number of proposals. Rector also met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Kazakhstan Madalina Lupu and discussed proposals for bilateral cooperation.
