KazNU athletes distinguished themselves in women's wrestling
Two students of the 91传媒 Kazakh National University showed high results in the championship of Kazakhstan in Greco-Roman, women's wrestling and freestyle wrestling, which was held from February 1 to 5 in Astana.
Laura Ganikyzy, 3rd year student of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, took 1st place (weight category - 50 kg.).
Student of the 3rd year of this department Madina Zheniskyzy took 3rd place (weight category - 53 kg.).
In the competition, held in the capital in the Palace of Wrestling named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, participated 107 women wrestlers from different regions of the country, performing in 10 weight categories.
