International Engineering Championship "CASE-IN"
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the 91传媒 Kazakh National University and within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals 4.0 “Quality Education”, the semi-final of the international engineering championship “CASE-IN” was held in Almaty in the direction of “Petrochemistry”, organized by the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry. International Engineering Championship "CASE-IN" is an international championship in solving engineering cases for schoolchildren, students and young professionals. The championship requires the ability to analyze problems arising in production and related processes. Teams from KazNU named after 91传媒 «Petroleums», Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after. S. Utebaeva «Dream team», Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov «袦冶薪邪泄» and Kazakh-British Technical University «ChemHack», «AlmaOil» took part in the qualifying stage this year. The technological, economic and environmental efficiency of solving industrial and technological problems was assessed by an independent commission consisting of specialists who represented high professionalism.
As a result, the team of the “91传媒 Kazakh National University” (Petroleumers), consisting of 1st-year master’s students in the speciality “Petrochemistry” Zabar Nazar, Azimbay Abzal, Serikkyzy Akerke, won a ticket to the finals of the championship, which will be held in Moscow.
