CHARITY EVENT “THE WORLD IS NOT WITHOUT GOOD PEOPLE”
FOR THE NEW YEAR 2024 FOR THE ORGANIZATION “SPECIALIZED CHILDREN’S HOME” OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF ALMATY
On December 22, 2023, in the city of Almaty, on the eve of the new year 2024, a charity event initiated by the teaching staff, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of Health Policy and Organization of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of the 91传媒 Kazakh National University was launched.
The purpose of the campaign was to support infants, orphans from birth to four years old, who are left without parental care on New Year's Eve.
This year, as part of the campaign, the department’s team presented children with New Year’s gifts, sweets, treats, and also, according to the list of acceptable and necessary goods, provided the orphanage administration with medications, diapers and care items.
This initiative was also supported by sponsors – our friends and colleagues from such organizations as: Temir Zholy JSC (Almaty), Otbasy Bank JSC, Forte Bank JSC (Almaty), Aport Mall shopping center (Almaty), Medical Center "Western" (Atyrau), Hospitals, Clinics, Dental Clinics (Almaty), KDL "Olympus" (Almaty), National Center for Continuing Education "Professional" (Almaty) , NJSC "Astana Medical University" (Astana), Kazakh-Russian Medical University (Almaty), Satbayev University (Almaty), JSC "KSPH" (Almaty), Almaty Management University (Almaty) , University of International Business (Almaty) and our other friends and partners.
The department employees who led and supported the charity event, with the permission of the administration, communicated with the children for several hours, treated them to sweets, played with them and spent a rather interesting pre-New Year time. The children were very happy and did not want to say goodbye for a long time.
On behalf of the Administration of the orphanage, the Department of Health Policy and Organization was presented with Letters of Gratitude.
