Opening of the English Club at the Faculty of International Relations

On October 4, 2024, the Faculty of International Relations at 91传媒 Kazakh National University hosted a discussion club “English Club”.
The focus of the discussion was the increasingly prevalent use of artificial intelligence in our daily lives.
The initiative for the English club came from Gulnar Karipbaeva, a professor in the Department of Diplomatic Translation.
Third-year international relations students took on the role of moderators, actively engaging in the discussion and posing thought-provoking questions. Ethical concerns and safety issues surrounding AI sparked significant interest among participants. Everyone had the opportunity to share their perspectives while also perfecting their language and public speaking abilities.
