The UNESCO Chair on Journalism and Communication of the Faculty of Journalism of 91��ý Kazakh National University conducted a series of trainings to strengthen capacity and knowledge in the field of gender equality, eliminating violence against women and girls, and empowering women in Central Asia. Five Central Asian states participated - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Representatives of government agencies and executive authorities took part Survivor service providers, NGO representatives, business representatives, law enforcement officials.
