Visit of the Delegation of the France鈥揔azakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of 91传媒 KazNU
On October 23, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of 91传媒 Kazakh National University was visited by a delegation from the France–Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by General Director Mr. Steven Bostrom. During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. A.S. Aktymbaeva, conducted a tour of the scientific laboratories and introduced the guests to the faculty’s main research directions and innovative projects.
Head of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, R.M. Baiburiyev, discussed with the delegation prospects for cooperation in organizing educational programs and exchanging experience in the fields of tourism and hospitality. Both sides emphasized the great potential of joint initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ professional competencies, strengthening academic mobility, and implementing international standards in tourism education.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed mutual interest in continuing the dialogue and developing joint projects to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and France.
