A 72-hour free professional development course, career guidance activities, and an SDG video lecture were conducted within the framework of the “Quality Education” goal

Within the framework of the “Quality Education” goal, educational, career guidance, and informational activities were organized for a broad audience. The main purpose of these activities was to expand access to quality education, increase young people’s interest in modern information technologies, and provide future applicants with useful information about in-demand educational programs and career prospects.

In this regard, a 72-hour free professional development course incorporating components of the Sustainable Development Goals was developed and implemented for a broad audience beyond the university campus. The course was designed for school students, learners, young professionals, and participants interested in the field of information technologies. The course covered relevant topics such as improving digital literacy, the role of information systems in modern society, the potential of artificial intelligence technologies, the basics of working with data, high-load information systems, and current trends in the IT industry.

During the 72-hour course, participants had the opportunity to expand their theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills. The sessions addressed the effective use of information technologies, work with digital tools, data processing, the application of artificial intelligence, and digitalization processes in education and industry. In addition, participants completed practical tasks aimed at strengthening the knowledge they had acquired.

The content of the course was closely related to the Sustainable Development Goal “Quality Education.” Participants were introduced to the importance of education for social development, the need for digital skills in the modern labor market, and the advantages of continuous professional development. Thus, the course contributed to increasing learners’ interest in information technologies, shaping their professional orientation, and expanding access to quality education.

In addition, a video lecture was conducted on the importance of partnerships in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. During the lecture, the key principles of partnership for achieving the SDGs were highlighted, and the contribution of universities to sustainable development was discussed. Examples were also provided of projects implemented by educational institutions in cooperation with government agencies, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations.

The lecture covered international and local partnerships in the field of sustainable development, the role of the university in research and social projects, as well as the social, economic, and environmental benefits for society. At the end of the event, participants were offered ways to take part in joint projects and use partnership opportunities effectively.

Alongside this, career guidance activities were conducted online. In particular, an informational meeting was organized for prospective applicants on the educational programs “Information Systems” and “High-Load Information Systems with Artificial Intelligence.” During the online meeting, the features of these programs, the main disciplines studied during the learning process, practical skills, laboratory work, project-based learning opportunities, and graduates’ professional prospects in the labor market were explained in detail.

Regarding the “Information Systems” educational program, it was noted that students acquire knowledge and skills in programming, database design, analysis and development of information systems, creation of web and mobile applications, and the fundamentals of information security. Regarding the “High-Load Information Systems with Artificial Intelligence” educational program, modern areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data processing, design of high-load systems, and development of intelligent systems were presented.

During the career guidance meeting, participants asked questions about choosing a specialty, the content of educational programs, future employment opportunities, internship possibilities, and in-demand professions in the IT field. All questions were answered in detail, and applicants were provided with guidance for making an informed choice of their future profession.

Overall, the 72-hour free professional development course, online career guidance activities, and SDG video lecture made a concrete contribution to the implementation of the “Quality Education” goal. These activities were aimed at improving learners’ digital literacy, helping them make an informed career choice, and understanding the importance of partnership in the field of sustainable development.
