Meeting on University and Dormitory Regulations Held at Student Dormitory No. 14
On February 9, 2026, a meeting entitled “Introduction to the Internal Regulations of the University and the Dormitory” was held at Student Dormitory No. 14. The event was organized within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept. Its main purpose was to enhance students’ legal awareness, clarify their rights and responsibilities, foster a culture of discipline in the dormitory, and prevent violations of public order.
The meeting was attended by Sharipkazy Nurtalip, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies for Social and Educational Affairs. During the seminar, students residing in the dormitory were provided with detailed explanations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students’ rights and obligations, requirements for maintaining discipline and cleanliness, as well as issues related to public order and the prevention of misconduct. In addition, topics such as everyday culture, mutual respect, safety regulations, and personal responsibility were discussed.
As part of the event, the newly elected Student Dean of the Faculty, Ziyash Adelina Dastankyzy, along with other student organization leaders, was introduced. The responsibilities of the new leadership team and their key objectives were outlined. At the conclusion of the meeting, organization leaders were instructed to conduct inspections of dormitory rooms in order to assess students’ living conditions, sanitary standards, level of discipline, and household needs. Identified shortcomings were to be recorded in a special list.
Further joint efforts with the administration of the Student Campus are planned to address the identified issues.
