On February 25, 2026, the Department of Information Systems organized a meaningful and socially significant charity event within the framework of the campaign “Kindness and Charity – the Measure of Humanity.” The primary goal of the event was to enhance social responsibility in society, to foster in the younger generation such noble qualities as compassion, empathy, and care, and to provide children with moral and emotional support.

The event was organized at a high professional level by the Deputy Head of the Department for Academic, Methodological and Educational Work, Senior Lecturer Ilesova Bakytgul; Acting Deputy Head of the Department for Research, Innovation and International Relations, Senior Lecturer Duisenbekkyzy Zhansaya; and the Senior Curator of the Department, Kazhybek Aigerim . At the initiative of the organizers, the Head of the Department of Information Systems, faculty members, as well as first- and third-year students actively participated in the event, contributing to this noble cause.

During the charity action, children were presented with toys, educational supplies, stationery, sweets, and essential daily items. In addition, students prepared a small концерт program: they performed songs, organized engaging games, and conducted entertaining activities. Educational and developmental games helped reveal the children’s creative potential and created a warm and friendly atmosphere. The core value of the meeting was not only to bring joy to the children, but also to allow them to feel care, attention, and support from society.

As part of the event, a career guidance session was also conducted. The children were introduced to the educational programs implemented at the Department: “6B06102 – Information Systems” and “6B06106 – High-Load Information Systems with Artificial Intelligence.” It was emphasized that these programs provide students with in-depth knowledge in programming, databases, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, design of high-load web services, and cybersecurity. As illustrative examples, the organizers highlighted successful student startup projects, internships in IT companies, and the employment of graduates in leading technology organizations, clearly demonstrating the wide opportunities and strong demand for these fields.

The children expressed sincere gratitude to the organizers, noting the warmth, attention, and genuine care they received. Such noble initiatives ignite hope and confidence in their hearts, strengthen their motivation to learn, and inspire them to pursue their dreams. The charity event also contributed to increasing students’ social engagement and strengthening their civic responsibility.

Such meaningful meetings clearly demonstrate that the educational environment is not only a center of science and knowledge, but also a духовное space that promotes high moral values. In the future, the Department plans to continue implementing socially significant projects aimed at nurturing professionally competent and morally mature individuals.
