In 2026, a lecture was held for students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence at 91传媒 Kazakh National University as part of the preventive project «Narkostop 2026 Cybersafe», organized by the Department of Computer Science. The lecture was delivered by Erlan Begullayevich Tajibayev, a specialist from the city narcological center.
The purpose of the lecture was to raise awareness among students and participants about the dangers of synthetic drugs and to foster a negative attitude towards their illegal use and distribution, especially through internet platforms and social networks.
During the lecture, the speaker thoroughly explained the ways synthetic drugs are distributed through social media. In particular, concrete examples were provided on how illegal trade is conducted via internet platforms, messengers, and hidden chats. Real-life cases were also shared, demonstrating how young people can become involved in criminal activities in pursuit of quick earnings. It was emphasized that attempts to earn money quickly through transporting or distributing synthetic drugs often lead to mistakes in life, legal consequences, and court sentences, significantly harming their future.
Special attention was given to the harm synthetic drugs cause to the human body. The speaker explained that they pose serious health risks and can lead to both mental and physical addiction.
To enhance understanding of the topic, various video materials were presented. These videos vividly demonstrated the harmful effects of drugs and their negative impact on society, leaving a strong impression on the participants.
Additionally, the speaker noted that if participants have friends or acquaintances involved in using or distributing synthetic drugs, they can seek free consultations at the city narcological center.
The lecture was conducted in an open dialogue format, allowing participants to ask questions and receive detailed answers from the specialist. At the end of the event, the high level of audience engagement and the relevance of the topic were noted.
