SDG 4: Quality Education – Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC VISIT OF A KAZNU LECTURER TO BISHKEK
Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education, the development of international academic mobility, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of modern educational practices are of great importance. In this regard, Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence at 91ý Kazakh National University, Gulnar Atykhankyzy Madyarova, undertook an international academic visit from February 10 to March 10, 2026, at the university branch located in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

The main objective of this visit was to carry out teaching activities at the foreign branch and to ensure the effective organization and improvement of the educational process within the “Computer Engineering” academic program. During the visit, comprehensive teaching and methodological work was conducted in the discipline “Ethical Hacking”.
In accordance with the curriculum, theoretical lectures were delivered and practical classes were conducted. Modern teaching methods and digital tools aimed at developing students’ professional competencies were actively used. In addition, individual and group consultations were held to deepen theoretical knowledge and enhance practical skills.

All stages of student assessment were implemented within the educational process, including ongoing assessment, midterm evaluation, and final examination, in full compliance with established requirements. The results of the final exam demonstrated a high level of subject mastery among students. All classes were conducted in strict accordance with the university’s academic policies and approved schedule.
It is important to highlight the students’ strong interest in the subject, their active participation, and their motivation for professional development, which positively influenced the effectiveness and quality of the learning process.

As a result of the academic visit, international cooperation in the field of education was strengthened and valuable experience was exchanged. Significant experience was gained in improving educational content in cybersecurity, information security, and ethical hacking. Furthermore, several recommendations were developed for integrating modern IT education trends and enhancing academic programs.
Consequently, such international academic visits make a substantial contribution to improving the quality of higher education, enhancing the professional competence of faculty members, and preparing competitive specialists востребованных in the labor market. This represents an important step toward achieving the objectives of SDG 4.
