An enchanting evening dedicated to the master of words

At the Faculty of Journalism, a literary and musical festive evening titled “Beauties Who Adorned the World” was held to mark the 80th anniversary of the prominent representative of Kazakh publicism, publisher, and writer Magira Kozhakhmetova. The heartfelt evening dedicated to the master of words aimed to showcase the creative journey of the writer, who made a significant contribution to the development of the Kazakh press, and to promote her experience in journalism and publishing among the younger generation.

The evening was moderated by the dean of the Faculty of Journalism, a well-known media specialist Kanat Auesbay. Opening the meeting, the dean focused on the role of the Jubilee in national journalism, noting that his work and public activities are an example for several generations of journalists.

The event consisted of two parts. The first part was called "editor's pulpit" and was broadcast in the format of a professional interview at the Marat Barmankulov television studio. In this section, which lasted about 30 minutes, Kanat Auesbayuly spoke freely with the Jubilee, covering the most important stages of his creative and editorial activity. During the interview, Magira Kozhakhmetova shared her memories of her first career in Republican publications, her first experience in journalism and the period of professional formation.

He also focused on his experience in the magazine "Ақ желкен", where he was the editor-in-chief for many years, and reflected on the educational and cognitive significance of the publication for children and adolescents. The writer spoke about the peculiarities of the children's press, as well as fresh ideas about the content direction and responsibility of magazines for a female audience. The difficulties of publishing activities and issues of creative freedom were also one of the important topics of the interview.

During the interview, the students asked their questions. They ask, " what should a good journalist be like?"and "what is the main problem of modern media?"and listened to the opinion of an experienced specialist. In turn, Magira Kozhakhmetova gave advice to future journalists about professional integrity, search and responsibility, called on young professionals to constantly study and become journalists who serve the interests of society.

The second part of the evening continued with a literary and educational segment titled Қа&;лам­­гер әлемі.” In this section, Professor of the Department of Print and Electronic Media, Zhidegul Abdizhadyilkizy, delivered a congratulatory speech to the юбilee, noting that her творчество is a unique phenomenon formed at the intersection of Kazakh literature and journalism.

 

Under the professor’s guidance, students of Group 201 prepared a literary-textual composition based on the writer’s works. During the event, the students vividly conveyed the artistic power of the author’s prose to the audience through expressive reading. In particular, Anel Bagysbek read an excerpt from Жападан-жал&;ғыз,” while Togzhan Abutalip performed Мән­шүк – ғұмыр with выразительное исполнение. Meanwhile, Erkhan Appaz presented an excerpt from Жантсілім,” successfully conveying the deep inner emotions of the character.

At the end of the evening, on behalf of the chairman of the board-Rector of 91ý Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, a robe was covered on his shoulders, a white scarf and flowers were presented as a traditional tribute to the Kazakh people.
