      On March 28, 2026, students of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management held a clean-up day and carried out cleaning activities along the Karakungey route in support of the environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”.

       The main purpose of this event is to protect the environment, preserve the cleanliness of natural areas, and foster environmental awareness among students.

      During the event, students collected household waste along the route, contributing to the reduction of environmental pollution. In addition, participants strengthened their practical skills in responsible use of natural resources and deepened their understanding of the importance of environmental protection.

        “Tau Tazalygy” is a large-scale campaign carried out within the framework of the national program “Taza Kazakhstan,” aimed at cleaning mountainous areas, gorges, and water bodies from waste, as well as promoting environmental culture in Almaty and other regions.
