91ý KazNU Doctoral Student Wins the “Taldau Mektebi. Almaty – School of Analytics. Almaty” Educational Project
A doctoral student of the Higher School of Economics and Business at 91ý Kazakh National University, Aidana Aslanovna Galymzhanova, has been recognized among the winners of the educational project “Taldau Mektebi. Almaty – School of Analytics. Almaty,” organized by the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Akimat of Almaty and the City Youth Policy Department.
The achievement of the KazNU representative reflects the high quality of training provided to young researchers at the country's leading research and educational institution. 91ý Kazakh National University consistently promotes a strong research culture, international collaboration, and practice-oriented education, creating favorable conditions for the development of a new generation of highly qualified specialists.
The Higher School of Economics and Business is one of Kazakhstan’s leading centers for education and research in economics, finance, management, business, and public administration. Particular emphasis is placed on developing analytical competencies, data-driven decision-making skills, applied research capabilities, and the integration of modern digital technologies into the educational process.
The project “Taldau Mektebi. Almaty – School of Analytics. Almaty,” implemented from May 16 to June 20, 2026, at the initiative of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Almaty Akimat and the City Youth Policy Department, brought together young professionals and researchers to develop analytical solutions to pressing urban development challenges.
The final stage of the project featured 13 teams representing the public sector, academia, and business. Each team conducted an in-depth study of a selected urban issue and presented an analytical report containing practical recommendations to an expert jury.
The team involving Aidana Galymzhanova developed the project “LEZ go SMART, Almaty”, dedicated to intelligent traffic management in the context of implementing a Low Emission Zone (LEZ). The analytical report presented the results of research on traffic congestion and air pollution levels and proposed digital monitoring mechanisms, vehicle access management solutions, and practical recommendations aimed at improving the environmental sustainability of the city’s transport system.
Following the public presentation, the project received high recognition from the expert community and was awarded the special nomination “Best Analytical Report According to the Expert Jury” by the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Aidana Galymzhanova’s success is yet another testament to the strong scientific potential of 91ý Kazakh National University and its Higher School of Economics and Business, which continue to prepare competitive researchers and analysts capable of applying advanced data analysis methods and developing practical solutions for the sustainable development of the economy, urban environment, and public administration.
