An open lesson on the topic of modern philosophy was held

An open class on the course "Contemporary Philosophy" titled "Personalism and Perfectionism, Neorealism and Neomarxism" was held on March 30, 2026, from 8:00–8:50 and 9:00–9:50 in Room 104 of the Faculty of International Relations, located at 95 Karasai Batyr Street.

The class was conducted by first-year Master's student in Philosophy, Zainolda Nessibeli The open class was attended by the practice supervisor, Doctor of Philosophy, Acting Associate Professor Atash Berik, as well as students.

During the class, the major trends of contemporary philosophy — personalism, perfectionism, neorealism, and neomarxism — were comprehensively examined. The main ideas of each direction, as well as their views on human nature, society, and values, were analyzed comparatively. In addition, the significance of these philosophical approaches for understanding contemporary socio-cultural processes was discussed.

The class was conducted in an interactive format. Students were given analytical questions and a discussion was organized. The students deepened their theoretical knowledge of the topic and demonstrated critical thinking and comparative analysis skills. They showed strong interest in the discussed philosophical approaches. In particular, lively discussions emerged around the philosophical issues of perfectionism.
