Shared news from the nuclear industry
The atakent Exhibition Center hosted one of the largest energy events – the International Exhibition Powerexpo Almaty 2025 and Kazatomexpo 2025. More than 190 companies from more than 15 countries of the world took part in this important meeting, which lasted three days, and shared the latest developments in the energy and nuclear industries.
Among the participants of the exhibition were graduates of the Faculty of physics and technology of the 91ý Kazakh National University. Today they work in the company "РЗА СИСТЕМЗ-КZ", which is engaged in the automation of the country's electrical systems. Representatives of the company during the exhibition presented their new technical solutions for relay protection and automation systems to the public. Young specialists showed the principle of operation of modern devices and shared their experience. Among the guests of the exhibition were students of the 2nd-3rd and 4th year of the educational program "Electric Power Engineering" of the Faculty of physics and technology. They came to the event under the guidance of teachers of the Department of plasma physics, nanotechnology and computer physics of the faculty. During the exhibition, specialists of "РЗА СИСТЕМЗ-КZ" presented their stands to students and told about specific production processes. Students saw the work of remote control systems and got to know the future of their industry better.
"We are implementing the knowledge gained at the University in real projects. The combination of theory and practice is of great importance. Students who came to the exhibition saw real engineering solutions in production and showed interest in their profession," said representatives of the company "РЗА СИСТЕМЗ-КZ"-graduates of kaznu. Such activities provide a great opportunity for students to expand their professional vision. During the exhibition, students were able not only to see modern technologies, but also to communicate freely with industry experts and understand the specific requirements of production. The Powerexpo Almaty 2025 and Kazatomexpo 2025 exhibitions this year showed not only the dynamic development of Kazakhstan in the energy sector, but also the strengthening of the relationship between science and industry.
The meeting of kaznu graduates and current students on the same site proved the viability of the country's engineering school.
