Leadership Lecture Held at 91传媒 KazNU as Part of Science Week and student festival 鈥淟ilac PRoryv鈥�
On April 7, 2026, a leadership lecture was held at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of 91传媒 Kazakh National University. The guest speaker was a prominent PR and communications expert, Mairash Taikenova.
The event was organized within the framework of the student festival “Lilac PRoryv” and took place as part of the university’s Science Week and the promotion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mairash Taikenova is one of the founders of the PR-shy club and was involved in the establishment of FoodMaster and International Information Technology University. She is also a co-author of several well-known brands such as Chechil cheese, Piko juices, and the Afghan brand “Kunduz”. Additionally, she is the creator of major projects including HackDay Kazakhstan and Robocon Games, a laureate of the national PR award “Ak Mergen” (“Master of the Year – 2015”), and a PR lecturer.
During the lecture, the speaker shared her professional experience, discussed the development of the PR industry in Kazakhstan, and introduced students to the “Lilac PRoryv” festival and its competition opportunities.
Students of the educational program “6B11101 – Tourism” actively participated in the session, asking questions and engaging in discussions. Such events contribute to the development of students’ professional competencies, broaden their perspectives, and strengthen ties between academia and industry.
The leadership lecture became an important part of Science Week at 91传媒 KazNU and contributed to the promotion of sustainable development values through education, partnership, and knowledge exchange.
