Topical issues of modern accounting and auditing were discussed
A round table on the topic was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: "Accounting, Auditing, and Analysis in an era of sustainable Transformation: Big data, new technologies, and the SDGs".
The event was organized by the Department of Finance and Accounting of the Higher School of Economics and Business as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.: "Quality education" and "Decent work and economic growth".
The round table was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, honorary teacher Vladimir Radostovets, who made a significant contribution to the formation of the national school of accounting, auditing and economic analysis.
During the meeting, topical issues of accounting and auditing development in the context of the digitalization of the economy were discussed. The participants emphasized the importance of using big Data, modern digital technologies and innovative expert tools in a professional environment.
The round table was attended by the scientist's son, director of the independent auditing company CentrAudit-Kazakhstan Viktor Radostovets, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mukhtar Yerzhanov, Deputy Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business Shyngys Nurgazy, veteran teacher Madi Baydauletov, as well as faculty and young researchers.
The experts emphasized that the modern accounting and analytical system is not just a control tool, but a strategic resource for making effective management decisions and ensuring sustainable economic growth. The reports comprehensively discussed the issues of digital transformation of accounting, the implementation of ESG principles in corporate reporting and the training of highly qualified specialists who meet the requirements of the new era.
At the end of the meeting, the participants paid tribute to the memory of V.K.Radostovets, noting that his scientific legacy does not lose relevance in the modern digital economy and continues to serve as the foundation for the formation of the latest scientific approaches.
