International Event on "Stress Management in the Digital World" Held at KazNU with Global Experts as Part of the SDGs Initiative

Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals of KazNU, an international event on the topic "MANAGEMENT OF STRESS IN THE DIGITAL WORLD" was organized by Professor S.K. Berdibayeva of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, and doctoral students R.M. Berkinbay, Dong Jihua, and M. Kassymova.

The event was held in accordance with the research focus of the scientific school of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, titled "Modern Approaches to Behavioral Addictions and Stress Management in the Digital World: Methodology, Theory, and Practice"

The purpose of the event was to analyze the differences in digital stress management between Kazakhstani and international students, share the ongoing research of the scientific school on this topic, and discuss effective stress management techniques with students.

During the event, invited students and doctoral candidates from the USA, China, and Turkey shared their experiences with stress management in the digital environment. Dauren Yerdekhanuly from the University of Southern California, Hou Yichen from China Agricultural University, Dong Jirong, and Zhazira Zholderbek, who is pursuing a doctorate in biogenetics in Turkey, discussed the issue of digital stress management and its specific characteristics in the countries where they are studying, engaging in a broad discussion of the topic.

Following this, participants of the scientific school «Modern Approaches to Behavioral Addictions and Stress Management in the Digital World: Methodology, Theory, and Practice», including students, master's students, and doctoral candidates, presented their research work related to the issue of stress management in the digital world.

Participants practiced stress management techniques, familiarized themselves with the work of young researchers from Kazakhstan and abroad, and noted the high practical significance of the event. The international participants expressed that the experience of exchanging with Kazakhstani students on the topic of stress management in the digital society was both interesting and beneficial. They extended their gratitude to all the organizers, Professor S.K. Berdibayeva and doctoral students R.M. Berkinbay, Dong Jihua, and M. Kassymova, for the opportunity to participate in this event.
