SDG 4: Quality Education and the Path to Personal Growth
On November 15, 2025, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Spanbek Arailym Nurlankyzy, together with first-year students of the program 6B05103 “Biotechnology,” conducted a class dedicated to healthy lifestyle, self-development, self-education, and intercultural communication.
The event was held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at fostering students’ responsible attitude towards their own health, continuous learning, and respect for cultural diversity.
During the session, students prepared posters and mind maps, discussed modern trends in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and explored ways to preserve physical and psychological well-being during intensive studies. One team presented the “Steps of Self-Development,” explaining each stage and its significance, another emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in self-development, and a third team created a mind map on cultural differences, demonstrating knowledge and respect for the cultures and languages of different peoples.
Participants actively exchanged opinions on how self-management and cultural tolerance skills help students adapt successfully to the educational environment and build productive communication.
At the end of the session, the lecturer emphasized that self-development, self-education, and intercultural dialogue are closely linked to personal growth and academic achievements. Such classes contribute to forming an active life position, broadening horizons, and developing universal competencies demanded in modern society.
