The international student subject Olympiad "Bookkeeping of Yesep tarlandary" was held
On April 15, 2026, at 91ý Kazakh National University, within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education”, the international subject student Olympiad “Buhgalterlik esep tarlamdary” was organized.
The aim of this large-scale academic competition was to enhance students’ professional competencies, integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, and develop the competitiveness of future specialists. In addition, the Olympiad was aimed at revealing participants’ creative potential, developing critical thinking skills, and fostering a culture of teamwork. The event provided students with broad opportunities for exchanging experience, increasing professional interest, and strengthening motivation to study accounting.
The event brought together students from 91ý Kazakh National University, as well as representatives of Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, and participants from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The Olympiad became an important platform for international exchange of experience. Participants from various educational programs demonstrated a high level of professional training.
The Olympiad was held in three stages. In the “World of Accounting” stage, participants presented creative videos highlighting the importance of the profession. In the “Blitz Round”, students answered theoretical questions promptly, demonstrating the depth of their knowledge. In the practical “Accounting Case” stage, participants solved specific accounting problems, determined account correspondences, and demonstrated skills in accurately recording financial transactions.
The participants’ performances were evaluated by a jury composed of experienced faculty members. The evaluation considered theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and logical thinking. As a result of the competition, the best teams were identified and awarded first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas.
This Olympiad became one of the significant educational events aimed at developing students’ professional skills, improving the quality of education, and strengthening international academic cooperation. Moreover, the event contributed to enhancing collaboration between universities and positively influenced the professional development of future specialists.
During the Olympiad, students not only demonstrated their knowledge but also proposed new ideas, broadening their professional perspectives through the exchange of experience. Such formats contribute to improving the educational process, introducing innovative approaches, and increasing interest in research activities. Participation in the Olympiad also helped students define their future career paths.
Furthermore, the results of the Olympiad confirmed the high level of students’ professional training and their readiness to become successful specialists in the field of finance and accounting. Such events serve as an effective tool for integrating knowledge and practice.
It should also be noted that participation in such international Olympiads contributes to the development of students’ professional confidence, communication skills, and the ability to work in a competitive environment, which is an important factor for their future successful careers.
