Career guidance for applicants: KazNU's educational programs are presented at the exhibition
As part of the international educational exhibition “Study in Kazakhstan”, held at 91ý Kazakh National University, an informational and outreach event was organized to introduce prospective students and school pupils to the university’s academic opportunities. The main objective of the event was to provide comprehensive information about modern educational programs, support career guidance, and enhance access to higher education.
During the exhibition, representatives of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics presented detailed information about their academic programs. The responsible lecturer Zh. Igibaev provided консультации on key fields, including Cyber-Physical Systems, Physics and Nanotechnology, Electric Power Engineering, and Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering. Participants received answers to their questions regarding program structure, academic pathways, employment prospects, and opportunities for professional development.
Special emphasis was placed on the research component of education. Visitors were introduced to the department’s scientific achievements, modern laboratory facilities, and opportunities for student involvement in research activities. Issues of academic mobility and international collaboration were also discussed, contributing to the development of globally competitive specialists.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, it supports SDG 4 – Quality Education, as it promotes access to information about higher education, fosters skill development, and encourages lifelong learning. By presenting engineering and science-based programs, the event also contributes to SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, as these fields are directly linked to technological advancement and national scientific capacity building.
Such initiatives play a significant role in building an open educational environment and preparing highly qualified professionals.
