New Constitution: Sovereignty and Historical Continuity
On March 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM, a scientific conference entitled "New Constitution: Sovereignty and Historical Continuity" was held in the Bekmakhanov Auditorium of the Faculty of History.
The organizer of the conference was Professor, scientific supervisor - F.A. Kozybakova and students of the Applied Kazakh Language and Literature Department.
The main goal of studying the Constitutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan is to understand and analyze the legal, political and social development of the country. Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan F. A. Kozybakova, dean of the faculty D. Suleimenuly,
Doctor of Historical Sciences, B. B. Karibayev, as well as professors, scientists: A. Zh. Makhanuly, E. Noyanuly.
During the conference, students analyzed the differences, achievements, peculiarities of the three constitutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students' comparative analysis of these three constitutions not only strengthens their critical thinking skills, but also deeply shapes their civic identity. They begin to feel the breath of an entire era, the hopes and changes of society behind each article. They understand that each article of the Constitution, which is updated and completed over time, is a mirror of the country's development. After the scientific work was completed, the distinguished guests expressed their opinions on the students' work and assessed it as scientists.
In particular, B.B. Karibayev told the students valuable information about the features of the Constitutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, their original form. F.A. Kozybakova analyzed the conference from a scientific point of view and expressed her opinion on the importance of the topic, A.Zh. Makhanuly gave her assessment of the students' work on evidence and sources.
After the scientific part, the cultural program of the conference was organized. Students performed for the guests. The boys sang touching verses, raising the national spirit, while the terme and kuy performed on the dombra were especially popular with the audience.
This conference was an important cultural and scientific event that allowed students to develop their scientific abilities and establish direct contact with scientists. In conclusion, the younger generation perceives the law not as a mere text on paper, but as a living document that is connected with the fate of the people and determines the direction of the state. This understanding awakens in them a sense of responsibility and respect for the country, leading them to become conscious citizens.
