International Meeting with Representatives of Kastamonu University at 91ý KazNU
On April 21, 2026, the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science hosted a meeting with representatives of Kastamonu University (Turkey), including Rector Ahmed Hamdi Topal and the Rector’s Advisor, Associate Professor Mustafa Ozturk Aksaoglu.
The Dean of the Faculty, Bekzhan Berikbayevich Meyrbayev, introduced the guests to the history of the faculty building and showcased a newly established open space designed to support students’ academic work and provide a comfortable environment for study and relaxation.
The official part of the visit continued with a formal reception in the dean’s office. The meeting was attended by:

In his remarks, Rector Ahmed Hamdi Topal expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to visit 91ý Kazakh National University, highlighting its rich academic tradition and strong reputation. He commended the high standards of organization in both educational and research activities and shared his vision for expanding future cooperation between the two institutions.
In turn, Dean Bekzhan Berikbayevich Meyrbayev noted that Kastamonu University has been a long-standing partner of 91ý Kazakh National University and outlined several promising areas for further collaboration, including joint academic and research initiatives.
The meeting demonstrated a shared commitment to strengthening institutional ties and opened new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Kastamonu University is one of the young and dynamically developing higher education institutions in Turkey. Established in 2006, the university has, within a relatively short period, developed into a multidisciplinary center for education and research. Ahmed Hamdi Topal is an experienced professional in higher education, a distinguished researcher, and a university leader. As Rector of Kastamonu University, he consistently implements initiatives aimed at developing international cooperation, enhancing research capacity, and improving the quality of education. His managerial approach is focused on strengthening the institutional development of the university, introducing modern educational standards, and expanding research and innovation activities. In addition, he places particular emphasis on integrating the university into the global academic environment through the development of international partnerships.
Associate Professor Mustafa Ozturk Aksaoglu serves at the Faculty of Education of Kastamonu University and is an advisor to the rector. His research interests include multicultural education, teacher self-efficacy, the use of modern technologies in the educational process, as well as teaching methods and principles.
The visit of the Kastamonu University delegation represents an important step toward further strengthening international cooperation between the two institutions, facilitating the exchange of experience, and developing joint initiatives in education and research.
