   On April 16, 2026, an event dedicated to issues of international arbitration and cross-border investments was held at the faculty of law of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with a focus on developing students’ practical skills.

    The event was attended by the faculty leadership and representatives of the student law clinic of KazNU. Among them were the head of the department of customs, financial and environmental law, doctor of legal sciences, professor Guldana Amangeldievna Kuanalieva, the director of the student law clinic, doctor of legal sciences, professor Daulet Laikovich Baideldinov, as well as faculty members A. Issayev, K. Kozhabek, S. Zhapakov, A. Yessekeyeva, G. Rasheva,                       B. Kalymbek, and A. Kudaibergenov. They delivered presentations on actual issues of international arbitration and conducted consultations, demonstrating practical skills in providing legal assistance and applying theoretical knowledge.

   Representatives of the Board of Arbitrators from Fuzhou (PRC) also joined the discussion, sharing their professional experience and presenting insights on international arbitration and investment cooperation.

     Such events contribute to the integration of theoretical training with practical application and highlight the important role of the student law clinic in the professional development of future lawyers.
