On April 8, 2026, within the framework of the International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Scientists “Farabi Alemi,” the session of the section “Sustainable Development Goals and Health” was held at 91��ý Kazakh National University, organized by the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Evidence-Based Medicine. A total of 10 scientific presentations were delivered, with young researchers demonstrating a high level of academic preparation, relevance of topics, and strong analytical skills.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were:
1st place — Tujuba Giftitati Legesse, 1st-year Master’s student, 91��ý Kazakh National University (Almaty)
2nd place — Amangeldykzy Alua, Zhaudbay Maulesh Abaikyzy, Yersin Mansiya Yersinkyzy, Meshitbayeva Meruert, 3rd-year Bachelor’s students, 91��ý Kazakh National University (Almaty)
3rd place — Amantai Nurtileu Yerzhanuly, 4th-year Bachelor’s student, Kazakh-Russian Medical University (Almaty)

The winners were awarded diplomas of I, II, and III degrees and advanced to the next stage of the competition — the interfaculty level.

The section served as an important platform for discussing актуальные issues in public health and sustainable development, while also fostering the research potential of young scientists.
