"New Design Contest": An Eco-Creative Event Dedicated to the Protection of Marine Ecosystems
An eco-creative event titled "New Design Contest" was held at the Faculty of Philology of 91传媒 Kazakh National University, focusing on developing students' environmental awareness and preserving marine ecosystems. The event was organized as part of the strategic implementation of UN SDG 14: "Life Below Water."
During the contest, students developed innovative prototypes for eco-friendly packaging and reusable containers designed to reduce plastic waste in water bodies. Participants emphasized the importance of sustainable materials and promoted a culture of responsible consumption. The presented projects stood out for their creativity and practical significance in protecting marine life from pollution. This initiative demonstrated the students' proactive civic engagement and their commitment to addressing global environmental challenges.
