Students of 91ý Kazakh National University – Prize Winners of the XII Republican Olympiad in Pharmaceutical Production Technology
Students of the educational program “6В07201 - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology” of NJSC 91ý Kazakh National University demonstrated a high level of professional training and successfully represented the university at the XII Republican Olympiad, held at NJSC Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University from April 23 to 24, 2026.
Participation in the Olympiad enabled students to demonstrate in-depth theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and competencies in solving professional tasks in the field of pharmaceutical production. The competition program included theoretical and practice-oriented assignments aimed at assessing the level of training of future industry specialists.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the students achieved the following significant accomplishments:
· 1st place in the individual ranking was awarded to 3rd-year students of the educational program “6B07201 – Pharmaceutical Production Technology”: Fyodor Pogorov and Zhaniya Turysbekova;
· 2nd place in the team ranking was awarded to the team “Substance,” consisting of 3rd-year students of the same program (scientific supervisor — Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Yu.A. Litvinenko);
· 3rd place in the team ranking was awarded to the team “Pharmavision,” consisting of 4th-year students of the same program (scientific supervisor — Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor A.K. Toktabayeva).
The achieved results indicate a high level of student training and their competitiveness at the national level, as well as confirm the effectiveness of the implemented educational program. A significant contribution to student preparation was made by the systematic and targeted work of the academic staff of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds and Polymers of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, aimed at developing professional competencies, analytical thinking, and practical skills.
Participation in Olympiads of this level contributes to improving the quality of specialist training, enhancing academic mobility, strengthening interuniversity cooperation, and fostering sustainable motivation among students for research activities.
