KazNU hosted a presentation of books dedicated to the fashion industry
The presentation of the books "Алла Елшін – рухани мұра" and "Qazaq Fashion" took place at the al–Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was attended by book authors, intellectuals, writers, scientists, experts, faculty and students of the university.
These publications are a spiritual and educational project dedicated to a new understanding of the life and creative legacy of Alla Elshin, a personality who left a bright mark on the global fashion industry. The books contain archival documents, rare photographs, memoirs of contemporaries, expert opinions and public opinion, presented to the reader in a new meaningful format.

The authors of the publication "Alla Elshin – rukhani mura" are Berlin Irishev and Maruana Khamzakizi. Berlin Irishev, Gulnara Neumann, Dana Hassan and Rimma Samir worked on the book "Qazaq Fashion".

The presentation ceremony was opened by Member of the Board, Vice–Rector for Sustainable Social Development of the University Bakhytzhan Omarov. He noted the importance of these works in popularizing national culture and spiritual values. "Such publications have a significant impact on the formation of interest in historical figures among the younger generation, contribute to strengthening respect for national values and the development of creative thinking. The implementation of such spiritual and cultural projects at the university testifies to the continuity of educational and educational processes",- said the vice-rector.

During the event, the authors of the books Berlin Irishev, Maruana Khamzakizi, Gulnara Neumann, as well as the project participants told about the history of the publications, the sources used and the features of the content.
"The book was released in the year of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary muse of Christian Dior– Alla Elshin. Her legacy as a model, who for the first time presented the Asian image of beauty and elegance on the world catwalk, continues to delight not only the Kazakh society, but the whole world. As a continuation of Alla Elshin's global career, the book presents modern models from Kazakhstan working in the global fashion industry. The book has been published in an encyclopedia format",- said Berlin Irishev.

In addition, the participants of the event widely discussed the scientific, cognitive, cultural and educational significance of work.

It should be noted that the books present the opinions of more than 70 compatriots, as well as provide expanded content, which can be accessed using a QR code.
