Career Guidance Activities of the Department of Economics in the Saryagash District of Turkestan Region

In accordance with the instructions of the university administration, the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business organized an outreach career guidance session in the Saryagash district of the Turkestan region.

As part of the event, at the Municipal State Institution “Secondary School No. 16 named after I.V. Panfilov,” Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics and Candidate of Economic Sciences Ережепова Айманкуль Абдыкаимовна held a meeting with the school principal, Saltanat Omirbekkyzy Dletbek.

During the meeting, the objectives of the visit were presented, including career guidance activities and organizing a meeting with graduating students to introduce them to the educational opportunities of 91ý Kazakh National University.

During the session with the graduates, A.A. Erezhepova distributed informational booklets and provided detailed information about the academic programs of the Department of Economics, as well as the educational opportunities offered by the Higher School of Economics and Business as a whole.

The graduating students showed great interest in the presented information and actively asked questions regarding the educational process, study conditions, and prospects for future professional development.

As part of the event, two video presentations were shown to the students. The first video introduced the campus, infrastructure, and student environment of 91ý Kazakh National University. The second video was prepared by fourth-year students of the Department of Economics, who proudly spoke about their Alma Mater, shared their impressions of student life, and demonstrated the most memorable and interesting moments of studying at the university.

The school principal expressed satisfaction with the organization and conduct of the event, emphasizing that the university’s career guidance activities and such informational meetings play an important role in the professional self-determination of graduates and undoubtedly contribute to the conscious choice of their future profession.
